Screen use by children is on the rise.
Literacy scores in the US continue to decline, with 65% failing to achieve the 4th grade proficiency standard.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends supervised screen time for children up to 5 years of age be limited to 1 hour per day, featuring high-quality programming.
More studies continue to link screen time to language delays, behavioral problems and poorer cognitive development overall.
Blue-light emissions from screens have proven to delay the release of melatonin and interfere with circadian rhythms, making sleep more challenging for everyone.
